Does Journey Hub work without mobile coverage?
Yes — fully. Journey Hub runs entirely on-device, so live runs, checklists and boarding logs keep working in tunnels, remote areas and coverage black spots. Nothing about a run depends on a connection.
Where is our data stored?
All data is stored locally on the device, with iCloud sync available. There is no mandatory cloud dependency — your operation's data stays under your control. See our privacy policy for details.
Is there an Android version?
Android is coming soon. Journey Hub is available now for iPhone, built natively in SwiftUI.
How do parents get access?
Parent accounts are created and approved by the school or operator's administrator, and linked to specific students. Parents then download the app from the App Store and sign in — Face ID is supported for quick return sign-in.
Can a driver complete a run with a missing student?
No. Unaccounted students are flagged before the run can be completed. This is a hard rule in the live run workflow, not a setting.
How do we get our students into the system?
Use CSV bulk import. Journey Hub shows a conflict-resolution review before anything is committed, so duplicates and mismatches are sorted out up front.
What checklists are built in?
A 14-point pre-trip safety checklist (exterior, interior and mechanical, with photo evidence on failed items), post-run cleaning checklists, and vehicle checklists at every-trip, monthly and term level.
What happens when a bus fails compliance?
Registration, insurance and service dates are tracked with a green / amber / red alert system, and a bus can be set to Under Maintenance or Out of Service. Capacity and accessibility conflicts are also flagged when runs are created.
Can we export data to our school admin system?
Yes — run summaries, student manifests, boarding history, fuel cost summaries, compliance overviews and maintenance cost breakdowns all export to CSV.
